The door was the very first part of this shop that I worked on and is now one of the last to be completed. I had initially removed the door so as to stain and varnish it without ruining the plexiglass. After gluing on a set of handles, I reinserted the pins to install it. Only two things are left to do before Pasticceria Penso is finished: build and hang the sign (along with the missing section of concrete veneer above the door) and figure out how to hang an awning.
