Sweet Shop: Third Display Case

My mom built this display case for me when I was a child. On the top shelf are some seeds I found in Arizona when I was 10 years old. I thought they looked like some kind of chocolate bun. The two trays on the second shelf were gifts. I made the cupcakes on the bottom shelf. Behind them are some scraps of marbled clay that I thought looked kind of cool.

I made the trays of lemon bars and brownies on the top shelf, as well as the cannoli and chocolate eclairs on the bottom shelf. The middle tray and the cake in front on the bottom shelf were gifts.

I made these lollipops as a child. About 15 years later I finally constructed a display stand for them.

These pastries were some of my early experiments with polymer clay: raspberry bear claws, scones, jelly and cheese Danish pastries, and chocolate croissants. The baking sheet is actually a vintage plastic tray that I covered in tin foil.
